2024 BLIA Scouts World Camp
I. Objective:
Promote cooperation and goodwill among global leaders of the BLIA Scouts, fostering international friendship and a spirit of mutual assistance.
Facilitate youths' understanding and global engagement through the integration of BLIA Scouts activities. Encourage exploration of diverse cultures and foster connections with the global BLIA Scouts family via a range of activities.
Understand the mysteries of nature through outdoor activities and develop the habit of cherishing blessings, while developing wisdom through learning and cultivating the '3G Scouts' motto: Speak good words, do good deeds, and think good thoughts.
Gain life experiences through communal living, improve interpersonal relationships, show respect and create positive affinities with others.

BLIA Scout Leaders – Group leaders and Section LeadersBLIA Scouts World Camp:
BLIA Scouts, Venturer Scouts, Rover Scouts, Adult Helpers, aged 13 to 26 years old. (Registered Rover Scouts and Adult Leaders will be required to take up various active roles at camp.

BLIA Scouts: A$800 (US$550)

The fees above include accommodation and meals for the entire World Camp period (3 ~ 7 July)
During World BLIA Scouts Leaders’ Consensus Conference, accommodation is mainly in "quadruple rooms".
Double room - an additional A$146 (US$100) per person per night.
Single room - an additional A$220 (US$150) per person per night.For those arriving before or staying after the event and require transportation and accommodation (at own expense), please apply through your own Scout group to the Event Administration team, to assist in the planning.

Every Scout must submit a signed consent form from their legal guardian. Scouts under 18 years old must prepare a parental consent form for travel. This form is suggested by Immigration Department to be notorised, to avoid any problem entering the country.
All Participants requiring transportation services must complete the "Airport Shuttle Service Application Form” before 31 May 2024 (Attachment 3 / Online registration).
All Participants must submit a health declaration using the medical examination/health declaration form of their respective Scout group.
Each scout group is to collate all registration forms from their own members and submit to the organiser, along with the participation fees. No refunds will be allowed for cancellations after payment is made.
Each Scout group is responsible for obtaining approval from the Scout Branch of their country/state for international travel according to regulations set by their respective national Scout headquarters.
Airport transfers will be provided between 1~7 July, to and from Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport and Nan Tien Buddhist Temple, Wollongong.

BLIA Scout Leaders World Conference – Scouts Activity Report

The BLIA Scouts World Camp welcomes Scouts from all countries to wear the Scout uniform of their respective country and carry their national flag at the opening ceremony, to add colour to the occasion. Scout groups from various countries are to hand over their group flag at registration.Commemorative Concert
In memory of Founder Venerable Master Hsing Yun, the World Camp is holding a special Commemorative Concert by the campfire, inviting BLIA Leaders and Scouts from each Scout group to sing Buddhist hymns or Songs from the Human World. If an invitation letter is required for the purpose of applying for an Australian visa, please contact the Event Administration team.Safe From Harm Online Training
This is a set of online modules to complete and is aimed to protect children and young people so that everyone can feel safe, at any time. All participants aged 18 years and above must complete the online training‘Safe from Harm’ before the event and overseas participants must complete this before their arrival in Australia. Group Leaders are to collate the Certificate of Completion from all participating members and submit to the Organiser before the event. XI. Payment method:
Participation fees, sponsorships and Post-event Tour fees must be paid to the organizer before 30 April.
After completing the payment, please email proof of remittance to blsjsyd24@gmail.com and fill in BLIA Scout Group Registration Fees Summary Form and Reference – Name of Your Group / Sub-Chapter, Name of Remitter/Contact Person for easy reconciliation. (Attachment 8 /Online )
