2026 BLIA Oceania Fellowship Conference General Guidelines

I. Objective: To promote the fellowship of BLIA members in the Oceania region.

II. Organisation:

III. Dates: September 21 ~ 22, 2024 (Sat. ~ Sun.):

• May 15 (Fri.) 2:00 PM: Check-in, Welcome Banquet, Accommodation.

• May 16 (Sat.): Opening Ceremony, Keynote Speech, Fo Guang Shan 60th Anniversary Inauguration Global Transcription Cultivation, Group Discussion & Sharing, Farewell Dinner.

• May 17 (Sun.): Departure, Post-Meeting Tour

IV. Venue: Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple of Western Australia & The University Club of Western Australia.

V. Participants: BLIA World Headquarters Directors, Oceania Fellowship Committee (Deputy) Directors, Lay Dharma Lecturers/Teachers, Chapter Presidents, Elder Advisors, Executives, Members and Monastic Advisors.

VI. Fees:

1. Oceania Fellowship Meeting (including accommodation):
   (1) Register and pay by December 31, 2025: AU$450 per person
   (2) Register and pay by January 31, 2026: AU$500 per person
   ＊The fee includes two-night accommodation, transportation (including airport pick-up and drop-off), and meals during the meeting. Personal expenses are not included.
   ＊For those requiring a single room, an additional charge of AU$150 per night is applicable.

2. Oceania Fellowship Meeting only (excluding accommodation): Register and pay by March 31, 2026: AU$250/person
   ＊Registration from April 1, 2026 is subject to review by host organiser.
   ＊The fee includes meals and transportation (including airport pick-up and drop-off) during the meeting. Personal expenses are not included.

3. For participants who need transportation and accommodation arrangements before or after the meeting dates please inform and register with the organising committee - BLIA Western Australia in advance. All additional arrangements will be at participants’ own expense.

4. Each BLIA Chapter is required to collect and submit all registration fees as a lump sum via bank transfer to the organising committee, BLIA Western Australia.

VII. Cancellation and Refund Conditions: Once registrations and payment have been completed, there will be no refund for cancellation.

VIII. Registration Procedure:

1. Registration Date: From now until January 31, 2026.

2. Registration Method: Online registration at https://signup.blia.org.tw/login.aspx

3. Transportation Information: Shuttle services will only be provided from 15 to 17 May, operating between Perth Airport and Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple Western Australia, as well as the Wonil Hotel Perth, for both arrivals and departures.

4. After confirming your flights, we kindly request each association to complete the flight information online before April 15, to facilitate the meeting transportation arrangements.

IX. Registration Details:

1. 1. Check-In Time: May 15 (Fri.), from 14:00 ~ 16:00 PM.

   2. Check-In Venue: Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple of WA

   3. Accommodation: Wonil Hotel Perth (24 Hackett Drive, Crawley, WA 6009 Australia).

A – Rottnest Island 1 Day Tour
B – Western Australia Unique 2 Days/1 Nights Tour
C – Western Australia Marvellous Nature 3 Days/2 Nights Tour

XI. Delegates Please note:

1. 1. The Oceania Fellowship Meeting welcomes sponsorship from BLIA chapters and individual members. Please refer to the sponsorship details (See Attachment 3).

   2. All delegates are kindly requested to wear their regional uniform and BLIA vest, and to bring their BLIA membership card.

   3. For delegates arriving earlier or departing later who require transportation and accommodation arrangements (at their own expense), please contact and register in advance with the organising committee, BLIA Western Australia, to facilitate arrangements.

XII. Fee Submission: Please remit all meeting fees in a lump sum to the organising committee’s account before February 10, 2026, and submit the Meeting Registration Fee Summary Form together for verification. (See Attachment 4)
