II、Date and Venue: October 2 (Fri) – 6 (Tue) at Taipei Dome and Fo Guang Shan Monastery.
The schedule below is for reference only. The organizer reserves the right to modify the schedule. The final schedule will be based on the official announcement.

Each chapter has 5 Delegates. Additionally:
1、Each chapter has one additional Delegate for every 100 chapter members.
2、Each chapter can have a maximum of 200 Delegates.

Primarily chapter and subchapter executives and members

Temple Abbots/Abbesses, Superintendents, Monastic Advisors.

BLIA members, Friends of BLIA
All BLIA members and executives who are Full Attendance participants (Ex-officio Delegates, Delegates, and Observers) must possess a membership card issued by the World Headquarters in order to register.
Registration count: Full attendance (including Monastic Advisors): 3,500 people maximum. Spectators: No limit.

IV、Fees:
Full Attendance participants (Ex-officio Delegates, Delegates, Observers, Monastic Advisors)
Before April 30, 2026: US$500／NT$16,000 per person (South Asia Chapters: US$300)
May 1~31, 2026: US$600／NT$19,000 per person (South Asia Chapters: US%400)
June 1, 2026 and after: US$700／NT$22,000 per person (South Asia Chapters: US$500)
The fees above cover meals, lodging, and transportation for the duration of the Conference (5 days and 4 nights). Personal expenses are not included.
Upgrade to a single occupancy hotel room: Additional US$90 per night. (For Fo Guang Shan and temple accommodation, no single occupancy room is available due to room design restrictions.)
For participants who wish to arrive earlier or depart later, and require transportation, 3 meals, and lodging arrangements (at their own expense). Their local branch temple or chapter will serve as the point of contact with the organizer.
Spectators (BLIA members, Friends of Buddha’s Light)
Registration and payment before April 30, 2026: US$100/pp or TW$3,500/pp.
The fee includes attendance for the Taipei Dome event (Opening Ceremony and Star And Cloud The Musical), lunch, and a souvenir. The participant is responsible for their own transportation and lodging.

Registration Date :
First period – from March 1 to June 30, 2026 or when full.
Second period – from April 1 to September 24 for processing transportation and accommodation information.
Registration method: Online only at https://www.blia.org。
Full Attendance: Ex-Officio delegates, delegates, observers, please refer to P.6-7.
Spectators (Registration starts March 1, 2026)
(1) In order to register, overseas chapters and Chunghua subchapters are to serve as windows in submitting their respective attendance lists.
(2) Upon completing fee submission, the system will be open from September 1 for downloading “admission ticket” for the October 3 event (ballot system).
(3) Once the admission ticket is downloaded, cancellation is no longer accepted.
Transportation: The organizer will provide transportation between the airport, HSR stations, and the venue from October 1 to 7.
Arrival (Oct 1~2):
Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), Songshan International Airport (TSA), and on Oct 2 (4:30 PM), HSR Nangang Station shuttle service to Taipei Vihara.
Departure (Oct. 6):
Kaohsiung International Airport (KHH), HSR Zuoying Station: Oct 6 (1:00PM/ 8:00PM) departing from Fo Guang Shan
Departure (Oct. 7)：
Kaohsiung International Airport (KHH), HSR Zuoying Station: Oct 7 (9:00AM) departing from Fo Guang Shan or E-Da Hotel
＊ For the organizer to successfully arrange your transportation, please confirm your flight and provide your flight time before August 31.
＊ From September 25 onwards, those who wish to adjust their transportation arrangement for any reason must do so on their own. The Transportation Team will not handle arrangement adjustments after this date. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Cancellation policy: After registration and payment, due to accommodation expenses have been incurred, refund amount will be based as follows (Taiwan time):
Cancellation within July 16~31, 50% of registration fee will be refunded.
Cancellation within August 1~31, 25% of registration fee will be refunded.
Beginning September 1, refund requests will no longer be accepted.
For those unable to attend due to visa refusal are not limited by the above restrictions, and will receive a full refund.

Venue: Hotels and branch temples.
Method: Please wear your BLIA uniform and BLIA membership card for a smooth check-in process.

World Headquarters directors are requested to arrive at Taipei Vihara before October 2, Friday at 5:00 PM for attending the BLIA 8th Meeting of the Seventh Board of Directors Meeting in person.
Ex-officio Delegates should attend the Meeting in Zoom online meeting room.

The file must be sent to the organizer’s email before September 10 for it to be uploaded to the event website.
Conference handbook and commemorative journal In accordance with the vision of Environmental and Spiritual Preservation, a printed copy of the handbook and journal will be provided to Ex-Officio Delegates, while a digital copy will be provided to all other participants. Chapters and members are welcome to make a sponsorship. For the Sponsorship Form, please see Attachment 4.
Opening ceremony
Lay Dharma Teachers/Lecturers, Chapter Presidents, and Elder Advisors General should wear their sash at the ceremony. For chapters that conducted a re-election at the end of 2025, please bring your chapter flag and sash for the presidency handover.
Certification rehearsal: Due to time constraints, an in-person rehearsal may not be held. The event’s Ceremony Team will provide a reference video. This is applicable to newly-appointed Elder Advisors; newly-established Chapters, Elder Advisor Committees, and BLIA Scouts; newly-appointed and promoted Lay Dharma Lecturers; and related persons.
Creative entrance: For a more vibrant event, representatives from all countries are welcome to wear attire from their local culture and carry their national flag.
＊＊ For the October 3 event at Taipei Dome, the organizer has designated a special zone for sponsors, who are welcome to contact the Check-in Unit if they are interested.
Presenting souvenirs Chapters that wish to present a souvenir at the General Conference’s closing ceremony should complete the form (Attachment 5) and send it before September 10. Registrations during the event will not be accepted.
Yogacara Dharma Service
1. In light of the frequent disasters around the world, the General Conference Yogacara Dharma Service will be conducted to pray for world peace.
The event will be held in the afternoon of October 6 at Fo Guang Shan Monastery. BLIA members are welcome to register at their branch temples. Members not attending the conference are welcome to register as well.
Monastics who are leading a group should bring their haiqing and monastic robe for the event.
